Denis performs traditional Dalmatian/Croatian music. He was born in Croatia in the region of Dalmatia. He studied classical singing at prestigious "Trinity College of Music" in London. During his musical career he was involved  in many different styles of music. One of them was singing tenor in Dalmatian acapella  groups called " Klapa ",  as  is presented in one of the videos on this website.

These days Denis performs solo ( voice & guitar ), doing traditional Dalmatian music as well as samba / bossa nova in Dalmatian / Croatian language. Dalmatian traditional songs are an intimate portrait in which one can poetically experience Dalmatia from bygone times. Inspired by life experiences Dalmatian song testifies to centuries long persistence of Dalmatians to preserve their cultural, religious and national identity in spite of all historical and everyday hardships - their Croatian identity but in a Dalmatian manner.

Everything that comes from life is life itself, or it's testimony, so it is with Dalmatian song.
As an expression of the region of its origin, it sings about life, Adriatic Sea and beauty of its Islands.
